Live demo of Mozilla's client-side text translation technology:

mozilla.github.io/translate/

Runs in most browsers (but sadly not Safari), no add-on required, no sending your text to the server!

If you're interested in contributing to #Gitea #federation, I updated an old comment I wrote: github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issu

The two most important links are:

- gitea.com/Ta180m/gitea/wiki/Us for learning ActivityPub and ForgeFed

- The big task list tracker: gitea.com/Ta180m/gitea/issues/

Is there someone you follow on here and you enjoy their posts but you don't want to see their boosts?

Do you wish you could hide their boosts but still see their posts?

You can do this on Mastodon:

1. Log in through the website

2. Go to the profile of the person whose boosts you want to mute

3. Click "..."

4. Select "Hide boosts from..."

If you want to see their boosts again, just do the same thing but select "Show boosts from..."

Hi. This is an #introduction. I'm Jack. I'm the science editor at CNET.com, a good website on the internet. I write science stories for a living. I like to call out bullshit science and science reporting.

I'm ready to jump ship from The Bad Bird Site.
